"Recording this song has been such an AMAZING experience for me. I really love to sing and ever since my first lesson with Rocío I have improved a lot. The recording studio was a very professional but comfortable place; something that I could *definitely* get used to! I had a lot of fun through the whole process from preparing the song to doing the final 'punches'. It is an experience that I will always remember fondly. I would like to thank Rocío for teaching me so much and everybody who worked on the CD for making my dream of recording in a real studio become a reality."

When Abbey first started taking lessons at RGVS, she had gotten into the habit of "belting" by simply trying to push her voice as high and as hard as it would go. Since then she has been working really hard on developing her upper range without tension and connecting it to her lower range. This is enabling her to sing in a much more relaxed and soulful manner, and it is a great joy to us to assist her with her growth as a singer. She is currently working on developing more strength in her new found upper register.
