"My experience was far beyond my expectations. It just shows how far I have come in 5 years. From singing quietly in the car to singing on a stage in a coffee shop with a live band, backup vocals, and an audience. AMAZING. I still think about how blessed I am to have such a supportive family and Rocio to give me this opportunity. The Student Spotlight 2008 was amazing but this year even topped that. The band is so amazing I hope I get to see them again. The venue was also awesome. I hope I will continue to sing for years to come and to be included in such amazing events. "

Courtney first came to us at age 8, as a complete yet very creative beginner. Her voice was very airy and sometimes even scratchy, and she was afraid of high notes. Now she is able to choose between softness and punch across her entire range (up to double high C!), thus having the tools to express her musical creativity without hindrance.
