"I LOVED the whole experience of recording at The Annex. It was a joy to work with Rocío and the owner of the recording studio. It was so much fun and I loved every bit of it! McKenna started out with a very small and nasal voice, but more importantly, an incredible drive to learn. Her upper range was as good as non-existent... who knew she would be singing up to C above high C (!!) just a couple of years later! Last summer she landed her first lead role as "Mulan" at the Hillbarn Theatre. She is currently working on strengthening her upper range while relaxing her lower one, and is learning a lot about storytelling and emoting songs at the same time. She has come a long way since her first lesson!
